HORSE MASSAGE KIT - BATTERY USAGE AND SAFETY
Equissage

Your Equissage Kit comes with two 12 volt DC batteries.

It is ESSENTIAL that you read the Battery Information Sheet enclosed in your Kit before you commence using the product. By following the special instruction sheet you will take the opportunity to lengthen the life of the battery supplied as well as ensure the safety of the person using the equipment.

Batteries are alive at all times so

Square Take care never to short circuit the battery terminals.
Square Do not remove the connector supplied with the battery and charger.
Square Do not attempt to remove the battery lid or play with its internal workings as the battery contains lead acid.

Recharging

Always use the charger supplied in your Kit as it is specially designed to handle your 12 volt DC battery. You will shorten the life of your battery if you allow it to totally discharge therefore we recommend we recharge your battery after the following usage times.
Square Hand Pack - 60 minutes of usage
Square Back Pack - 45 minutes of usage

Never leave the batteries in an uncharged state.

Disposal/Re-cycling

When the battery has reached the end of its life it must be disposed of correctly as batteries contain harmful substances.
Square Do not throw in your bin.
Square Return to a licensed battery dealer, or
Square Take it to your Council tip for disposal

New batteries

New batteries can be obtained from Equissage.

Batteries supplied by Equissage will have the correct connectors to fit your Equissage equipment.

Note
Before reconnecting the battery to the unit ensure that the motor speed control is in the off position and the battery is fully charged.
