We had a chat with Dan Steers from the Double Dan Horsemanship to see what they’re up to and how Equissage plays a big role in their day-to-day activities!
How many horses are in your team? 10 in all – but there would be normally 6 ready to do shows and clinics at any given time.
What’s to come in the next 12 months with your team? Preparation for Dan Steers competing in RTTH in Kentucky March 2014. We are constantly on the road with 4-6 of the team doing shows and clinics travelling around Australia and Newzealand.
How long have you been using Equissage for? Since 2009
Describe a regular week with Equissage? It is really a day to day assessment – every day is different depending on whether we are on the road or back home at the training facility. We assess the health and wellbeing of each horse daily and act accordingly. After shows and big work outs , and even after long hauls to shows – all the horses have a relaxing session with the Equissage and of course if we encounter any soreness – Equissage is always on hand.
Why don’t you leave home without your Equissage? We believe Equissage is a vital tool in keeping the horses at their optimum for performances – the well-being of our horses is paramount.
